Leah Marino has been working in the film and television industry for ten years. Before editing Dirt she edited Imelda which premiered at Sundance 2004 and won the IDA award for use of archival material. Marino also edited Light From The East, which premiered at SXSW 2005—a documentary film about an American actress' exploration of events inside the Ukraine as the Soviet Union was collapsing. Marino's next editing project is the ITVS-funded documentary "The Creek Runs Red," about a small mining town in Oklahoma and the effects of mining on the town's environment and its citizens.
