Campers have the opportunity to choose one of the following as a two-week elective course. Each elective class culminates in a presentation for other campers.

FILMMAKING – Work as writers, directors, actors and editors to explore and create a film for the other campers to view.

VISUAL ARTS – Study the art of visual communication using a variety of media. Examine the use of drawing, painting, sculpture and molding in an experimental environment.

PLAYWRITING – Learn from the masters at Austin ScriptWorks. Create a series of short scenes that will be performed for the other campers.

TECHNICAL THEATRE – Explore the building blocks of production: stage management, lighting, scenery, costumes and make-up.

THEATRE PRODUCTION – Examine alternate theatrical career paths through classes in Directing, Managing/Producing, Marketing, and Development/Fundraising.
