All of these sites were designed and built
by Clay Crenshaw. Most were created from "scratch," and some
are redesigns of older sites. Contact Clay to

I've been expanding and tinkering
with the Beef
and Pie Productions site for over three years now. Featuring
a truly unique look and feel, and with many hidden treats, this
site promises a fun visit. Art directed by Michael Anderson. Featured
in the Fall 2006 issue of Create Magazine,
Texas. |

The
Butler Bros, one of Austin's hottest ad agencies, are a pleasure
to work with. I directed
a TV commercial for them, shot a documentary about the birth
of Marty's son (which was featured on KLRU in Austin), and built
their website for them, based on their own stellar design and exacting
standards. |
 |
An Addy Award-winning Michael
Anderson/Craig Denham design, growinabeard.com is
one of the sites I've been building on over the years for director
Mike Woolf. If you haven't seen the movie yet, you must get the DVD.
It's hilarious, and it features a behind-the-scenes special feature
that was shot and edited by yours truly. The soundtrack by the Gourds
ain't too bad either. |

San Antonio-based jewelry designer Amanda
Macedo was referred to me by a mutual friend. She needed a
site for her fledgling jewelry business, and she wanted something
elegant and clean, that would allow her unique jewelry to really
pop from the page. I came up with this minimalist design, which
I feel really works well. |
 |
This kickin' site for the new
documentary Dirt is
a big hit with the dirt-track racing crowd. Mullets. Motors. It's
all there. Working closely with the film's director, Jeff Bowden,
and the site's art director, Will Hornaday of Austin's own Shoehorn
Design, I brought their ideas to life on the web. |
 |
Students
of the World,
a non-governmental organization created and run by students, needed
a website in time for their fundraiser brunch with Bill Clinton—two
weeks later. A flash slideshow and graphical map interface, together
with compelling student photography, make for a clean, engaging,
effective site. Keep
an eye on this one—big plans are on the horizon! |

San Francisco photographer Liza
Heider contacted me, wanting a fresh, modern redesign for her
portfolio site. Using a fixed-page setup and subtle rollover effects,
I developed this site for her, which Liza and I both feel conveys
a sense of professionalism and creativity. |

|
Elizabeth and
the band needed a site that looks great, presents information clearly,
and is simple enough to update by themselves. Most of the photographs
on the site are mine as well. Created together with JJ Campbell. |

|
Something's
Brewin' in Shiner is a small but fun site I built for the good
folks at Shiner Beer and Beef and Pie Productions. I adapted the
look and feel of the site from the interactions and graphics on
the DVD itself, which was designed by Derrit at McGarrah/Jessee.
Did I mention that I was a cameraman on this beery little documentary?
Buy a copy and check the credits if you don't believe me. Hell,
buy one anyway. |

Marketing
Mileage, an event marketing company, specializes in getting
people's attention and moving them to action in creative, memorable
ways. They wanted a hip, fresh site that played off of their highway-inspired
corporate identity. Here's what I gave them. |
 |
Gregg Patten, the inventor of
TerraLume™ path lighting, had a bright idea and needed to let the
world know about it. After several conversations, it became clear
that he needed a site that played with the idea of light vs. dark,
one that emphasized the elegant and modern qualities of his product.
I created this site virtually from scratch, designing the corporate
and product logos and doing all of the conceptual design work. |
 |
The Mexican
American Legislative Leadership Foundation (try saying that one
three times fast!) came back to me after I designed the site for their
parent group, MALC. They needed something clear, fun, and professional
at the same time. Have a look. |
 |
DisplaySearch
publishes insider information and analysis of the flat panel display
industry. They also produce annual industry conferences around the
world. Besides these banner ads, I've also done copyediting and print
layout work for the company. |

|
Senator
Ellis and his staff needed a site that conveyed leadership and
clear thinking. I built him a site that's information-packed, a breeze
to navigate, and easy for his staff to update regularly. |
 |
Preferred,
Inc. is a custom sheet metal fabrication company in Round Rock,
Texas. After over thirty years without a website, they finally decided
that it was time to give in. They called me, and I delivered not only
a new site, but helped them bring their logo up to date as well. |
 |
The previous site for the Mexican
American Legislative Caucus of the Texas House of Representatives
needed serious help. The navigation was confusing, the pages were
cluttered, and they weren't able to accept donations online. After
I went to work on it, they emerged with a clean, clear site which
not only looks and works great, but loads quickly on dialup connections
too. |
|
Argus
Leadership Group, a management consultancy in Dallas, Texas,
asked me to help them with their corporate design needs. I created
a new logo, business cards, and this website. You wouldn't believe
me if I told you the price tag on this one, either. |
|
|
The
Texas Arts Project coordinators came to me with a smart graphical
concept and a good cause. I took it to the web, adding some subtle
animations and a clear site structure. |
 |
Zander Blunt, a friend of mine
from college, somehow managed to marry one of the most beautiful women
I've ever met. They wanted a sharp, fun site for their wedding
in Steamboat Springs, something informative and inviting that
gives guests a preview of the good times awaiting them in Steamboat.
Since people would be flying in from all parts of the country, they
decided on the theme "Meet us halfway." I also did the "Save
the Date" card and A-Z logo for them. Congratulations, Zander
and Ashley! |
 |
Rose
Hill Farm is a luxury country estate that's on the $1 million+
market. The sellers wanted a site that would elegantly highlight the
many wonderful nooks and crannies of the estate. I also shot all of
the photos for this site. |
 |
The Martha
Wong campaign wanted a unique and eye-catching Texas-themed website
-- quickly. The result was a simple, clean, and informative political
site. She won the election, by the way. |
 |
When James Blunt
told me he was ready to take his luxury travel agency to the web,
I knew that the site had to be distinctive, handsome, and user-friendly.
First-class clients demand first-class web design, and that's what
I gave them. |
 |
The
Summit Agency is an established insurance agency in Austin that
was suffering from a disastrous pre-packaged website. I designed and
built them a clean, simple informational and transactional site. Includes
online insurance applications and rate finders. |
 |
PSI
Extrusions is an industrial B2B client that needed a good-looking
and solid website to promote their business on the internet. The business
generated has already more than paid for the cost of the site. Check
out the unique online product catalogs while you're there. |
